Hope Academy Welcomes New Director of Community Outreach

Hope Academy High School proudly announces Erin Mooney as its new Director of Community Outreach. In this role, Mooney will collaborate closely with referral partners, including school administrators, probation officers, mental health professionals, and addiction treatment providers. Her mission is to bridge the gap in resources and support for adolescents seeking recovery within the Indianapolis area and surrounding communities.

Hope Academy Executive Director Rachelle Gardner expressed confidence in Mooney’s ability to make a significant impact, stating, “Erin is the ideal candidate to join the Hope Academy team as we work to expand our services and address the critical needs of adolescents with substance use disorder. Her passion for recovery, coupled with her wealth of knowledge and experience in addiction treatment, positions her as an invaluable resource for youth-serving providers in our community.”

Mooney brings to Hope Academy over a decade of expertise in addiction treatment and recovery. In her previous role as Director of Business Development at Hickory House Recovery in Greenfield, Indiana, she assisted addiction treatment professionals, families, and individuals in accessing crucial inpatient care.

“Hope Academy plays a pivotal role in assisting young people in establishing a solid foundation for their recovery and future success,” shared Mooney. “I am excited to be part of this team and am eager for the opportunity to collaborate with local school professionals and service providers, providing them with a positive option to support their students and clients in their recovery journeys.”

A lifelong resident of Indianapolis and a proud member of the recovery community, Mooney has successfully led business development efforts at local, statewide, and national treatment centers. Currently working towards obtaining credentials as a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP), her commitment to the cause is unwavering.
