Ways to Give

There are many ways to give to Hope Academy.

Every student deserves a future. That’s why we do whatever it takes – every day  – to make sure students have a safe place to learn and grow. Your support provides free transportation, small class sizes, recovery coaching and more. We can’t do this important work without your help.

Make a gift now to give a safe high school education to a student in recovery. There are so many ways to give. Choose the way that works best for you!

Hope Academy is a 501(c )3 organization.  Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

You can avoid federal and state capital gains taxes by directly transferring appreciated securities to Hope Academy.

When stocks are transferred into our account, we do not know the donors’ names, only the name of their brokerage firm which is why we request this information.

If you are 70 1/2 or older, make a direct transfer from your IRA to Hope Academy and reduce your taxable income. Gifts to Hope Academy can count towards your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and the transfer is not counted as income.  This is also a good option if you have inherited an IRA and need to take RMDs. Fill out the form below, so we will know of your intent to make a QCD transfer.

Including Hope Academy in your will or estate plans will ensure students have a safe and sober education for decades to come.  Many supporters have created a legacy by donating 5% or 10% of their estate to Hope Academy in their wills.

You can also name Hope Academy as a beneficiary of your life insurance or IRA.

Set up an automatic monthly, quarterly or annual gift via credit card, debit card, PayPal, Venmo or ACH. A modest monthly gift can have a big impact.

Many donors make gifts in honor of someone who has made a difference to them.  This is also a nice way to memorialize someone who has passed away. Include the name of the person you wish to honor with your gift and let us know if their family should be notified of your thoughtfulness.
